Amaranth-grain bread

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 egg white, 3/4 cup wholemeal flour, 3/4 cup amaranth seeds, 1 tablespoon melted margarine, 1 cup low-fat cream.

Cooking method.

Sift the soda with flour and mix with other dry ingredients. Beat the egg and add it to the milk and melted margarine. Mix well and combine with dry products. Then put the resulting mass in an oiled pewter and bake in a hot oven for about 25 minutes.
