Amaranth Laddu


100 g of amaranth seeds, 100 g of cane sugar (ordinary sugar, honey), 1 tbsp. melted butter, 2 tablespoons each – raisins and cashew nuts.

Cooking method.

Raisins pour with water for a while for swelling. Seeds of amaranth fry before they swell, like pop corn. Sift through a sieve. Prepare syrup from sugar or honey with the addition of 2 teaspoons of water. Pour the ghee into a container with blown amaranth seeds. Put the shredded cashew nuts and raisins in a bowl and mix everything very well. Now you can moisten your hands with water and make balls from the resulting mixture, spreading nicely on a plate.
