Chia seeds have a very delicate nutty taste and are well combined with any products in various dishes. They are grinded into flour and added to pastries. Or simply add the grains to the ready cooked meals. Chia seeds dissolve well in water, forming a substance that looks like gelatin. Due to the large number of soluble fibers, this jelly-like mixture creates in our stomach a physical barrier between the carbohydrates and the walls of the stomach, thus slowing the conversion of carbohydrates into sugar.

Chia seeds can replace eggs for baking. To replace 1 egg in the recipe you need 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 3 tablespoons of water.

Base gel

Ingredients: 3 tbsp. of chia seeds, 500 ml of purified water.

Pudding from chia seeds with fresh berries

Ingredients: 3 tbsp. of chia seeds, 150 g of any berries, 250 ml of milk 1% fat, 150 ml of natural yogurt, a pinch of vanilla, a sweetener (maple syrup or other) – to taste.

Chia pudding with dried fruits

Ingredients: 3 tbsp. of chia seeds, 500 ml milk 1% fat, 100 g finely chopped dried fruit.

Oatmeal porridge with chia seeds

Ingredients: 100 g of oat flakes, 2 tbsp. of jelly chia seeds, 300 ml milk (1% fat content), 1 tbsp. of honey, vanilla, cinnamon – to taste.

Salsa with chia seeds

Ingredients: 1 tbsp. of chia seeds, 80 ml of water, 2 fresh tomatoes, 50 g of dried tomatoes, 1 pinch of cayenne pepper, half a ripe avocado.

Orange cocktail with chia seeds

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. of seeds of chia, 200 ml of boiled (chilled) water, 250 ml of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Salad with chia seeds

Ingredients: 3 tbsp. of chia seeds, 1 small bunch of spinach, 2 kiwis, 1 avocado, juice of one lemon, 2 slices of ginger.

Strawberry-vanilla smoothy with chia seeds

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. of chia seeds, 150 ml of milk, pinch of vanilla, 1 teaspoon of maple syrup or honey, a handful of strawberries.

Chocolate cream with chia seeds

Ingredients: 1 tbsp. of chia seeds, 250 ml of milk, 1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar.

Chia and lentil soup

Ingredients: 1 cup of chia seeds jelly, 1/3 tsp turmeric, 1 liter vegetable broth, 3 cloves garlic, squeezed through garlic, 1/3 tsp fresh ginger, grated, 200 g lentils, 1 small fresh potato, 1 h. a spoonful of salt, a pinch of cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp. of olive oil, 1/2 tsp coriander, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice.

Smoothies with chia seeds and apple juice

Ingredients: 3 tbsp. of chia seeds, 1 glass of fresh apple juice, 400 g of any berries.

Lemonade from chia seeds

Ingredients: 1 tbsp. of chia seeds, 1 cup of natural apple juice, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice, 2 mint leaves, 3 ice cubes.
