Recipes with chia seeds

Chia seeds have a neutral taste, which is combined with all kinds of products and preparations. Chia seeds contain a large amount of mucus and have a thickening ability in combination with water, milk or juices. Usually chia seeds are used in fruit juices, yoghurts, homemade ice cream or whipped drinks.

Orange dessert with chia seeds

Ingredients (2 servings): 1 cup of vegetable milk, 1/2 cup fresh orange juice, peel of 1 orange, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey, 1/4 cup of chia seeds, nuts, coconut chips, any frozen berries and pieces of oranges for decoration.

Apple dessert with cinnamon and chia seeds

Ingredients (2 servings): 2 cups of unsweetened vegetable milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or pinch of vanillin, 2/3 cup chia seeds, 2 tablespoons coconut chips, 2 peeled and sliced into thin slices apples, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.

Coffee dessert with chia seeds

Ingredients (4 servings): 1,5 cups of cooked coffee (can be decaffeinated), 2 tablespoons of cocoa, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, 1.25 cups of almond milk, 1/4 cup of honey, 1 cup of chia seeds, 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder (optional).

Ingredients (2 servings): 1 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 cup of frozen or fresh berries, 1/4 cup of chia seeds, honey to taste.

Ingredients: 1/4 cup of chia seeds, 1 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 tbsp. of honey, 1/4 mango, 1 tbsp. of almonds.

Ingredients: 1 tbsp. of chia seeds, 1.5 cup of flour, 2 tsp. of baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 egg whites, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. lemon peel, pinch of vanillin, 1 tbsp. of cane sugar, 1/2 cup of blueberries.

Berry smoothie with chia seeds

Ingredients: 1 glass of frozen berry mixture, 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice, 1/2 glass of water, 1/2 st. l. chia seeds.

Chocolate pudding with chia seeds

Ingredients: 4 tbsp. spoons of chia seeds, 1 tbsp. spoon extract or 1 pod of vanilla, 1 tbsp. spoon of cocoa powder, 3 tbsp. spoons of honey (if desired, you can replace the syrup), 3/4 tbsp. spoons of defrosted or fresh raspberries, 1 glass of water, 1/2 cup of almonds.

Milk pudding with chia seeds

Ingredients: 1/2 cup chia seeds, 2 cups of any milk, salt on the tip of the knife, any sweetener – to taste.

Mango-coconut pudding with chia seeds

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. of chia seeds, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 3/4 cup diced ripe mango, 1 tbsp. of sweetened grated coconut, honey or sugar to taste.

Energy breakfast with chia seeds

Ingredients: 2 cups of almond milk, 1/2 cup chia seeds, vanillin at the tip of the knife (vanilla seeds or vanilla extract), 1.5 tbsp. of maple syrup, nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, walnuts, cedar – separately or a mixture), any fruits and berries.
