Kinoa grain does not require soaking, but before preparing the porridge it should be thoroughly rinsed under cold water. The seeds themselves have a shell, which gives the porridge bitterness. Rinsing them under water, you will get rid of possible particles of husk. For reinsurance, you can soak the grain for an hour or two, then rinse under running water several times.
Brewing grain of kinoa traditionally – in a ratio of 1: 2 cereals and water. The cooking capacity must be greater than the volume of liquid in it, as the grain absorbs water and increases in volume up to four times. Slightly pouring water, after its boiling, add the kinoa seeds, then reduce the heat and cover the pan with a lid. When the kinoa soaks all the water, the porridge will be ready. The groats need to be mixed in the process, so that the bottom is not burnt, left completely without water. Cook it for 15 minutes, then open the lid and leave for 2-3 minutes, so that the moisture remains evaporated.

Seeds of kinoa are widely used as a backfill in a variety of first dishes, added to the mass for stuffing vegetables and poultry, into light side dishes and warm salads. Cooking method. Boil a cup of kinoa groats, put spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and mix the whole stuffing. Turn it along with the beans and salsa sauce into whole wheat cakes and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
